Bird Migration Celebration

Birds on the Move

Journey with us as we follow bird migration across the continent.

Birds on the Move is a four-part documentary series tracking bird migration and the people and places it touches, from Canada to Cali, Colombia.

Across the series, you’ll meet:

• Scientists tracking birds across hemispheres
• Indigenous and local leaders protecting critical habitats
• Urban communities making cities safer for migration
• Young conservationists shaping the future

Together, these stories reveal how migration connects us all—and why protecting birds protects the planet.

Community Bird Journeys

Migration connects birds—and it connects us, too.

During our inaugural Bird Migration Celebration, people across the hemisphere have shared short videos about their personal connections to birds: the first bird that sparked their curiosity, a favorite migratory moment, or how birds shaped their community—and how protecting birds creates a better world for all of us.

Explore these stories in English and Spanish and see how birds inspire people everywhere.
