The Northwest Coalition for Alternatives to Pesticides "works to protect people and the environment by advancing healthy solutions to pest problems. "They've got several documents (under "Publications and Information") having to do with mosquitoes and West Nile virus that are worth checking out.
Beyond Pesticides "seeks safe air, water, land and food for ourselves and future generations." Their stated primary goal is to "effect change through local action," and they provide lots of relevant information on their website and through various outreach avenues.
