The Audubon Photography Awards Traveling Exhibition

The year's best bird photographs, selected by a panel of judges out of thousands of entries, are on tour. Find out when they're near you.

For more than a century, Audubon has protected birds and the places they need. We know that where birds thrive, people prosper, so taking care of birds benefits our communities, too.

Today’s best bird photography has the same effect. In order to inspire and inform people from communities across North America, Audubon created the Audubon Photography Awards Exhibition, which brings a traveling exhibit of award-winning photos to Audubon centers and chapters in a variety of cities and towns. Check the list below to find an exhibit near you.

Selected from more than 8,000 entries, the winning photos were published in the Summer 2018 issue of Audubon Magazine and show birdlife at its most vivid, vulnerable, formidable, and elegant.

The Audubon Photography Awards Exhibition is sponsored by Canon. As part of that partnership, Audubon and Canon are working together to introduce people to the wonder and beauty of birds through photography. Canon is committed to a wide range of environmental initiatives in the United States and around the world. Canon’s Bird Branch Project is aimed at conserving biodiversity, including birds and other living beings at their sites globally.
