The Center Building will be closing at 3:00pm on Wednesday, November 25th and closed on Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th for the Thanksgiving holiday. Trails remain open each day from dawn until dusk. Please place appropriate trail fees in the slot on the map kiosk. Happy Thanksgiving!

Audubon Pollywogs

Saturday mornings, Oct. 10th, Oct. 31st, Nov. 7th, Nov. 21st and Dec. 12th

10:00-11:00am

This popular program is for 3 & 4 year olds and a parent and includes a short nature lesson, hike or activity, craft, story and snack during each 1 hour session. Themes, respectively, are "fall leaves," "pumpkins," "insects," "owls," and "winter homes." The insects and winter homes sessions are featured "Daddy & Me" sessions, where Dads are encouraged to attend with their child(ren.)  Registration is required. Cost is $10 per parent/child pair ($3 each additional child.)

 

Owls

Saturday, November 21st

10:00am

The public is invited to join in our Pollywogs Program for a live owls presentation. Environmental Education Intern Ashley Brant will be introducing some of the Center's various species of owls.  Audubon Pollywogs are invited to stay after the program for a craft and snack.
