Newly Renovated Children's Adventure Center now OPEN !

In the summer of 2008, a beautiful coral reef aquarium was donated to the Center and it was placed downstairs in the Adventure Center.  Since then, we decided to make some major changes to that room, and created a wonderful "aquatic world" for our visitors.  The popular 'beaver den' has been altered, new crawlspaces for children were built, beautiful murals decorate the walls, and a small boardwalk and bird "observatory" rest alongside a small water pond.  We had our grand re-opening of the Children's Aquatic Adventure Center on Sunday, April 25th.  Enjoy some "before" and "after" pictures below, but be sure to stop by the Center to see it for yourself!

A VERY special thank you to artist Kathy Barlow and Mel Paskell for volunteering their time and working so hard to rebuild the Adventure Center and bring it to life!!
