Wendy Bredhold
Senior Manager, Transmission Initiative
Wendy Bredhold is Senior Manager for the National Audubon Society’s Transmission Initiative working in the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) North states of Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, and Missouri. She previously worked for eight years as the Senior Campaign Representative for the Sierra Club’s Beyond Coal Campaign in the coal-heavy states of Indiana and Kentucky. She also was an organizer with Environmental Defense Fund’s Moms Clean Air Force program and a member of the 2012 class of Vice President Al Gore’s Climate Reality Leadership Corps. Her spark bird was the Great Blue Heron, which she saw for the first time at John James Audubon State Park in Henderson, Kentucky.
