Xulia Suero
Xulia Suero joins Audubon Arizona and the Mackenzie fellowship program having spent three years examining various aspects of the field of conservation. Suero believes that by approaching conservation holistically, it can cultivate something beautiful and strengthen the bridge between conservationists and the corporations that want to help develop a sustainable future. There is no doubt in her mind, she says, that humans can create a modern environment provided with all the luxuries of the 21st century while mitigating the impact on the planet's natural resources. More to the point: She says she awaits the day when humanity's biggest worry, is not “if” the planet is going to collapse upon itself, but whether humans can visit and explore other planets, too.
