Audubon is a respected and influential voice on public policy issues, from town halls to the U.S. Capitol. We have the power to convene diverse stakeholders to solve even the toughest problems.

Audubon’s members are four times as likely to be opinion leaders, with interest and involvement in policy issues. Thousands take action as Audubon Activists. We mobilize this formidable force through communications outreach and Chapter-based grassroots training. It is how we bring the full power of Audubon to bear on behalf of legislation addressing issues such as bird conservation, ecosystem restoration, and clean air and water. And as we further align and strengthen our network, Audubon will become an even more powerful advocate for birds and the environment.

2025 Conservation Action Agenda

Hundreds of conservation leaders, Audubon members, and Audubon staff participated in Audubon Assembly to set Audubon Florida's 2025 Action Agenda. The agenda provides members, chapter leaders, directors, staff, and the public with summary statements of our policy and conservation positions. The 2025 Conservation Action Agenda is the only statewide conservation agenda in Florida that uses an open process to set its policy agenda with all stakeholders invited to participate. Regional priorities unite Audubon Florida chapters in seven regions.
