Following news that EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson will step down from her post, the National Audubon Society released the following statement:
“Lisa Jackson is an extraordinary leader who deserves significant credit for her vision and accomplishments,” said National Audubon Society Legislative Director Brian Moore. “I think the best example of her leadership is her response to the BP oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico and her leadership of the Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Task Force as the nation started working toward recovery. We thank Administrator Jackson for her leadership and her service.”
