To those of us who live in this paradise called Naples, the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is our "enchanted forest." We never know what we will find when starting our adventure on the 2.25-mile boardwalk through pine flatwoods, over wet prairie and marsh, and into the largest old growth bald cypress forest in North America.
Every day of each year, we can come to this natural cathedral to gaze at the beauty all around us and listen to the surprising variety of wildlife sounds only heard in protected, pristine Florida landscapes.
