A portrait of Tabitha

Tabitha Smith

Raptor Rehabilitation Associate

Tabitha Smith graduated from Lees McRae College in 2017 with a B.S in Wildlife Biology: Wildlife Rehabilitation. She worked at the May Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in North Carolina on campus through college, but the Center for Birds of Prey is where her passion for raptors grew and she found herself excited to work with them. She then went on to other positions including being a seasonal/temporary and part time staff member at the Center for two years until hired permanently full time. When not at work at Audubon, she has lots of activities she enjoys doing, such as working with horses, special effects make-up, and hanging out with friends. She loves being outdoors and is a huge foodie.
