Education Resources

Free activities, lesson plans, and other resources for connecting kids to nature.

Are you a parent or educator interested in bringing nature into your classroom? Audubon Rockies’ Community Naturalist program offers resources for parents and formal and non-formal educators who want to teach kids about the environment. Attend an educator workshop to learn how you can change the way your students think about science and nature, or browse lesson plans, activities, and more that will help you teach them about local ecosystems. Our Community Naturalists also deliver hands-on, in-person programs that connect students to bird conservation and nature, both in and outside of the classroom! Help your students learn and get excited about the plants, wildlife, and ecosystems around them with the resources below.
