Also known as Desert Canterbury Bells, this stiff, leafy, and hairy annual herb reaches 8 to 16 inches tall. Out of erect stems grow bell-shaped, rich blue flowers. This plant grows in full sun, and in well-drained, sandy or gravelly soil.
