Nevada Jointfir is a perennial, deciduous shrub that grows erectly to 5 feet in height. Small leaves fall off the plant early, leaving a yellowish-gray, leafless, broom-like shrub. The stems grow clusters of small, yellow/light brown flowers that form a cone-like inflorescence. This plant grows in full sun, and in dry, sandy or rocky soils.
