Also known as Parry's Agave and Century Plant, this succulent grows to about three feet in height in full sun and dry, rocky soils. Older plants produce a stalk up to twenty feet tall with bright yellow blooms and die after blooming. The nectar-rich flowers are popular with hummingbirds and orioles.
