Otherwise known as simply Bladderpod, this perennial shrub grows to 5 feet high and 6 feet wide. It produces clusters of yellow flowers, followed by fruits that become hollow when dried. This plant is accustomed to desert environments and is drought tolerant, growing in full sun and tolerating poor soil conditions. The fragrant, bright yellow flowers are highly attractive to hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees.
