Also known as California or Flat-topped Buckwheat, this is a perennial bush that grows up to 5 feet high and 6 feet wide. It maintains its leaves all year and produces white or light pink flowers from April to September that are favored by butterflies and bees. It is drought tolerant and can withstand full sun to partial shade and dry, rocky soils.
