This perennial wildflower, also known as Tall Milkweed, blooms late spring to early summer, growing 2 to 6 feet tall. Its lanceolate leaves contain a milky latex, while its stems are topped with attractive umbels of white and green flowers. This plant attracts bumblebees and butterflies, and prefers partial sunlight and moist, loamy soil.
