Also known as California Sycamore and Aliso, this deciduous, perennial tree has a stout trunk that often branches near the base, and a broad, open crown reaching 75 feet in height. It has distinctive, mottled white bark and deeply five-lobed, light green leaves. This tree grows in full sun and in moist soils.
