A herbaceous perennial that grows in clumps 2 to 4 feet tall, White Turtlehead bears spikes of white flowers in late summer and fall. It grows best in moist to wet soils and partial shade, attracting hummingbirds, and serving as a host plant for the Baltimore Checkerspot Butterfly.
